General Rules
- Admission applications are entertained throughout the year. Applicants for admission are required to undergo an audition test.
- Minimum age for admission is 6 years. On admission, students have to submit one passport size photograph.
- Classes are held thrice a week, for 1 hour duration. Special weekend classes are also held for working people. Institute will remain closed on National holidays.
- All the dance students have to follow an appropriate dress code as suggested by the teacher (White Kurta – Churidar / Frock – Leggings)
- Attendance is strictly enforced and students are required to attend regular classes.
- No persons other than the students of the Institute are allowed inside the classroom. Parents are required to drop their ward and pick them up after their class.
- In the absence of a class teacher for a short period, arrangements will be made to provide a substitute teacher during that time.
- Use of mobile phone is not allowed during class hours. It has to be kept on a silent or switched off mode.
- Students are required to participate in the Semi-Annual Function organized by the Institution.
- Examinations of the KHANAK Institute of Performing Arts are conducted every year through Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in April/May. Availability of Examination Forms : in December.
- Appearing in Madhyama Pratham Examination, the age of the candidate must be 13 years on 15th August.
- Students may be debarred from appearing in examination on the basis of lack of preparation, irregular attendance and disciplinary grounds even after having filled their examination forms.
- The completion of the course will depend on the capabilities of the student.
